This semester, Music Lab meets at our main studio in Reading. Dropping your child off is simple and stress-free, with easy parking, a welcoming space, and coffee available for parents in the lobby while the kids dive into hands-on music-making with friends.

Not at all—this isn’t about pressure or assignments. The magic happens in class. But if your child wants to keep playing at home, we’ll share simple ideas and Spotify playlists that make practice feel like play.
Absolutely. Music Lab builds the foundation—confidence, rhythm, listening skills, and hands-on experience with multiple instruments. When your child is ready for formal lessons, they’ll start with excitement and confidence instead of frustration.
This is a drop-off class—perfect for giving you a little breather while your child learns and plays. If your child needs extra support, you’re always welcome to sit in or stay nearby, and of course you’ll be front and center for their joyful semester-end performance.
Just themselves! We provide all instruments and materials. Comfortable clothes for moving and playing are a plus. Kids are encouraged to bring a labeled water bottle, and if they’ve been given an instrument to keep (like a harmonica or slide whistle), they may be asked to bring it to practice for the concert.
Each Music Lab class is 45 minutes of hands-on music fun—long enough for kids to explore, learn, and perform, but short enough to keep their energy and focus high.
Yes! We offer demo classes so your child can experience Music Lab before committing.
Our “big show” happens during the last class of the 10-week semester. Kids get to shine on stage for friends and family, celebrating everything they’ve learned!tting.
Nope! The concert is included in tuition. Sometimes we offer treats or pizza afterward, and parents are welcome to chip in if they’d like—but it’s completely optional.
